Our Mission
The mission of The Endive is a simple one. Our mission is to give you a good, cheap laugh - usually at someone else’s expense. We have no shame, no one is safe, and we will not stop until you laugh (or get pissed).
But wait! There’s more to it than that! What’s the one common thread we see in all forms of entertainment, be it television or internet? It’s all pretty freaking liberal. As a matter of fact, the liberal slant on our TV shows and news programs is so entrenched that we take it for granted daily. Sure, lots of us are happy with that. Yay you. Lots of us are a little sick of it and watching Fox News 24/7 just doesn’t do it for us.
Sure, the overt liberal stuff we can all laugh at. If someone makes a joke that shows how obvious his or her feelings are, we’re allowed to disagree and laugh all the same. It’s the covert stuff that bothers us here at The Endive. Every day, stuff sneaks past us under the radar - assumptions, ideas, and half-truths - and we just assume it’s reality because TV said so.
That’s where The Endive comes in. We are a rare genetic mutation among human beings - conservatives with a sense of humor. We don’t dress in fancy suits and coif our hair like Mitt Romney. Heck, we don’t even have names like “Mitt” or “Newt,” but dammit, we’re funny.
So, to all my conservative brethren out there, enjoy The Endive! Have a guilt-free laugh on us and tell your friends how much fun you have visiting our site regularly. Forward the link to everyone you know. Show the world that conservatives can entertain!
